I did give him a hard time about chopping off the paws of the tiger in his shot lol.... But got to admit the kid did pretty well overall. If he had a lighter camera, I think he can do better.

Yeah, all photos are untweaked. I save RAW images, so I was planning to go home and adjust white balance, contrast, etc.
And Bouncer, this was through a floor to ceiling plate glass viewing window. It is in the "Tiger Mountain" exbihit at the Bronx Zoo.

It's the saturation. It is very easy to overdo. Beast's tiger tweak looks natural but the eagle looks overcooked IMO. The real eagle doesn't look that saturated in color.
But that's a personal thing, I think. Some people like their photo colors to pop like that. I prefer to ratchet it down a bit and make it more natural.

They have that kind of glass viewing section San Diego wild animal park too. I can't find the video but my ex shot a video of me sitting front of the glass and a huge male lion behind me trying sniff my head. :D
Not my videos but you can see how close you can get to them in San Diego wild animal park.
The Lion wanted to "play"with my daughter, pretty amazing. - YouTube

Save the image and play with it. Like scrum said it's the saturation.
Yeah the eagle is done a bit to much I wanted bit more color on the feathers and the beak but then the white feathers on the head looked bit yellow but oh well. I'm to lazy to go full on photoshop on them. :DOriginally posted by Scrumhalf View PostIt's the saturation. It is very easy to overdo.
