I get the best possible shot. I just don't want the camera to be doing the jpg decisions for me. The whole point of getting an SLR camera is to take the decision making away from the camera. Get the RAW file and then work on it on the computer. The jpg files that the camera spits out frankly look much worse than what I do on the computer. I have no idea what the camera is doing under the hood when it processes the image and saves it as a jpg. I have a lot more faith in my ability to reproduce what I saw with my eyes.Originally posted by BEAST View Post

By the way RAW setting is not gonna take great picture automatically you still need to set the shutter speed, aperture and ISO to get the best possible image. And when you do that it'll make the editing much easier.Last edited by BEAST; 08-27-12, 02:01 PM.
