yes mt Benelli was top of list but he is a pussy also and I cant get her to even try and shoot it, besides I have no idea how to lock it from kids and still extreamly fast for her to grab.

If I can get her to shoot it I will look into a way but as of now no way

speaking of shotguns i just slapped a Eotech on my M4 and holly shit that is not even fair how fast I could pick up the target and slap a slug right dead center of the papers bad guys face.

I agree Turbo a lil 20 guage loaded with #1 buckshot in the house is hard to beat!!
never though about smaller gauges. humm might have to look for place that rents 20G cuz no way she will touch my 12G

My wife has a tough time racking the slide as well, her go to pistol has always been a S&W or Ruger .357. The fullsized frames like the SP101 handle very well and shouldn't be too snappy for her.

But as you know a pistol is only for fighting your way to a real gun.

My wife has her own little single shot 12 gauge that she is a master with. I started her shooting static targets then moved to clays. She can get it on target and bust them with confidence now.

I got my wife a lil Charter Arms wheel gun for mothers day in 38 special..she loves it. real light and little recoil. oh and its pink...LOL She hits a chest sized target every shot out to 5 yds...thats. plenty for a get off me gun! I like that it hammerless so it wont get snagged comming out of her purse or anything else. point pull trigger..too simple

no way you need to spend 3k for your wife to protect herself. Take her to a shop and a range and let her pick. Like you mention about the shotgun, you dont want to give her something shes not 100% comfortable with. Price wouldnt be an issue with me when it comes to protecting my family but that kind of money for a 1911 is just unnecessary.

yes I agree but you also gotta know there is hidden agendas also bro. I want one anyways, this helps me justfy getting it,lol
she honestly can not shhot my plastic guns at all but she shot me buddys Wilson pretty good
It will be my range toy but it will also be to protect my kids when I am not home.

Lipper had a good idea on 20G I might go Siaga20G but takes about a additonal 1000 bucks to make sure they run right. but 20 rounds of lil buck shot will def keep the bad guy away.

so just to be clear and 100% honest I want it also and prob would of got anyways this just saves me from having to buy a pocket gun also for her

not a XD fan for some reason. if it was just for me i would go HK45 but plastic is not gonna work for the wife. she limp wrists gun has to have some weight or it will flip to much.

besides I have done the plastic gun so much I wanna see how the other folk live. at least I am not looking at the full custom or the 5K ones, lol
