Bridge of Spies
Great movie based on a true story. Great characters and really well acted. You have to be interested in the subject material to really enjoy the movie. I can see it being a little slow for people not interested in the Cold War spy days.

GREAT Movie! Not sure what I was expecting but this movie surprised me. Not your typical "good guy vs bad guy" bullshit. See it, you WILL like this movie, no doubt.

Was reading some about the movie today and I really like this quote by the director:Originally posted by Bouncer View Posti knew youd like it. no moral bullshit.
"The movie addresses what's happening in Mexico right now, sure," he says, sitting down next to his stars. "But it could have been set in the Middle East or Africa. Because really, this is a film about America, and how the foreign policies of the Western world reflect a notion that we're above the law. We act like the rest of the world belong to us." He pauses before adding, "I’m including my home country in this group as well; you're not off the hook, Canada. We in the West have a tendency to create chaos. And that chaos does not improve things."

And of course you always have the gullible/ethical dipshits who buy into the whole "we are the good guys" rhetoric like the Female fbi agent.Originally posted by Turbo3000 View PostWas reading some about the movie today and I really like this quote by the director:

Brolin is great. He did The Goonies and then fell off the face of the earth until No Country for Old Men.Originally posted by Bouncer View PostAnd of course you always have the gullible/ethical dipshits who buy into the whole "we are the good guys" rhetoric like the Female fbi agent.

Beasts of the Southern Wild
Probably the best movie you've never heard of. Everything great about what a movie should be. A powerful story, originality, and amazing actors that you've never seen before. Everyone should see this movie.

This one is available on netflix and it's foriegn so subs only. It's a movie that is enjoyable IF you take it for what it is, A mockumentary. I usually find this genre to be a joke but this movie has just enough to make it pretty enjoyable and unique for what it is. Take it lightly and you will enjoy this one.

Spotlight (2015)
The true story of how the Boston Globe uncovered the massive scandal of child molestation and cover-up within the local Catholic Archdiocese, shaking the entire Catholic Church to its core.
Great acting, well paced, and a really interesting subject. The level of cover up and corruption in the church is just insane. Even more surprising is the people outside the church who helped cover it all up "because the community needs the church".. Great movie.
