Heaven and Hell

Do u all believe in them. Me im religious, i go to church every sunday and all. Yeah I believe in good and evil, cause theres alot of evil in the world as in right now. And there is always good cause ive met some good hearted people in this world. Pretty weird:angel:

I believe in an afterlife, but have grown somewhat disenchanted with organized religion over the years.

my buddy who got shot a month ago said when her was being operated that he felt his soul get out of his body. He said the light exists and he saw some relatives that had passes away telling him to go back, tha its wasnt his time yet. He said this in front of his mom and me.

i don't believe a bit. i believe that humans are the root of ALL evil. if there ever was an embodiment of satan, it would be the human race. man dreamed religion in an attempt to cope with the reality of death and to make him or herself feel like a better person. i don't need the 'word of god' to help me distinguish between right and wrong. i don't need the 'word of god' to make me feel like a better or more complete person. i feel completed by the loving hand of my wife and feel that i am a good person because of the way in which i live.

I believe. Maybe even extended more than just heaven and hell. I believe in degrees of glory after death.

I never thought of us as being the root of all evil, but I think you're right. What other creatures on this earth kill for reasons other than food or self defense?

I grew up Catholic, was a born again Christian for a short while, and then I grew up and just can't believe that a god like the one we've been taught to believe in actually exists. And I swear, the most religious people that I meet are the most backstabbing, hypocritical, two-faced, lying people I've ever met.

I don't know what happens to us when we die...if we even have a soul, does it go somewhere or is it reborn in another lifeform?

I've been agnostic for the past 7 or 8 years, but especially so after 9/11.

I just live my life trying to be the best person that I can be, to help the people that cross my path, and try not to cause any harm or grief to anyone else.

i believe all souls go to heaven no matter what if thier bad or not. I believe we are all gods souls and creations, so he takes us bad. Its just that we all suffer when we are bad in this world since we are alive we suffer. But I try to be good and faithful cause I dont wanna pay up later in life.:angel:

I believe. I believe that good and evil is present in each person. To what extend and on how the scale finally swings depends on many factors. Through my work I meet many persons that have done horrible things but initially come across as very decent beings. Human beings are easily corrupted and the line is very thin.
I do not believe in religion and church whatsoever! It's written, set up, controlled and managed by human beings. There is too much inaccuracy in translation of old textes (also written by humans) and far too much interpretation of how a religion should be enforced and manifested. All I see is dirty politics, power struggles and pure greed and it covers practically all religions. It just serves to control (masses). Look at the world today and you realise that if there is a god he has longtime turned his back on us.
I believe that something divine is initially in all beings of this planet, it soimetimes just get lost in us humans...
