My youngest is 8 next Friday, they do feel the strain and they are aware of the situation with the cameras etc my daughter is freaked out by it but the others find the funny side of it.Originally posted by FitnessBrat View PostHave to agree with Bounce on the kids front. You don't stay "for the kids" Aren't your kids mostly grown, too? No kid wants their parents to stay together because of them. It doesn't do them any good, and often times brings them tremendous guilt. Your kids would rather see you happy, than together. I know that, I've been there.
I'm not sure about the laws over there, but over here she'd get full custody and that would do the kids no good. I've not been a good boy and in any custody case it would be brought up, that combined with her issues would more than likely mean social care for the kids.I know I'm avoiding the inevitable but, but sometimes it ok(yeah not good or great) the kids all know the situation and know I'm only here for them.

I admit I know nothing about this stuff, but even living with parents in a dysfunctional relationship is probably better than becoming wards of the state. That's got to a recipe for ruin.Originally posted by dinkysatan View PostMy youngest is 8 next Friday, they do feel the strain and they are aware of the situation with the cameras etc my daughter is freaked out by it but the others find the funny side of it.

I guess that all puts you in a whole different category them. I can't imagine giving custody to someone that mentally ill, but I don't blame you for staying if it means your children go elsewhere. :(

sorry but I dont believe a country such as England would give custody to someone who is in the mental state she is in. i am sure some simple questioning would show she isnt fit to have custody like that.Originally posted by dinkysatan View Post

not being harsh here bro, just think you are coming up with reasons to prevent something you will regret.
