So I ran out of K-cups and had to pull the french press out and gring my own beans. Gotta admit, after months of not having the fresh ground stuff, the french press really does make a better coffee.

Another blend worth trying, Its more mild but without tasting cheap or watered down.

So the downside to Keurig is that the k-cups can be expensive compared to making your coffee the old fashioned way.

I have tried a million different brands of k-cups and to my surprise the one I avoided until recently is not only the cheapest but it is also one of the best tasting.

Kirkland Signature Breakfast Blend 100% Arabica

            100 k-cups for $37.99

The other brands you buy in the store is like 12-15 k-cups for $10-$15 so the savings is pretty big.

Just make sure you have storage space, the box is huge. lol

Love my Bunn much more than the Keurig. Give one a try sometime.

Is that the one that brews a whole pot in seconds?

How about you guy give us some idea of why you like those products better instead of just saying "i like mine better dur hur". I don't say that as a challenge, just want more info. I will go get one if they truly are better or have some advantage in terms of convenience or taste.

I like it because it brews very, very hot and it makes a bigger mug. I don't make a pot, I just make about a 12 oz cup at a time. The water is basically double heated, so it's hotter than the average pot.

Has excellent reviews - so it's not just me. :)

I remember this now. 2 pretty important reasons actually. I would like the ability to make a bigger cup and while the keurig makes the coffee hot enough to drink, you have to drink it right away or it gets mild within 5 minutes. I like to get on the computer a bit and slowly drink my coffee rather then rush it. i will have to check it out.

This is what I use. Makes a great cup of coffee. A Keurig wouldn't make sense for me seeing that I drink almost a pot a day.

So much cheaper, too. Not that I'm saying that's one of the big reasons, but when Keurig first came out I could get some really good deals. Now, the price per cup just keeps rising. I also don't like buying a box and then deciding I don't really like it after all.

The Cuisinart also has its own filter. You don't have to use a paper one, unless you just don't care to clean it out (like me).

Bunn makes the coffee in seconds.

The reservoir remains slightly heated 24/7. I add how much water I need. and 3 seconds after closing lid hot coffee is being dispensed.
