I think there needs to be more thought into security. Schools for example, make the classroom doors with the locks that the teacher has to buzz you in to enter. Maybe add a couple security guards???

What I do find strange is how all these gun people are making such huge deal out of there rights to own a gun. But what about the patriot act or whatever its called? The government pretty much took all our freedoms away! They can listen to our phone calls, search our home with no probable cause or keep people detained without any evidence. Why isn't anybody trying to stop that?

obumma is gonna limit the amount of rounds in a magazine and make the guns not look military. same laws we already have in california. it took California about 3 weeks to get around every single law made and passed. the laws did nothing here other than make people more cash with the panic buying.

I read the article and to some extent I agree/disagree.

I own 3 pistols and she has one. ALL HK models(love them)and have ammunition for enough protection. What I don't understand or comprehend and excuse my ignorance here. Is why do regular civilians need assault rifles or enough ammo to clean 50 people or more out? Just a question

If you're an avid hunter, then maybe make different regulations for those people as oppose to those just wanting weapons for the sake of it?!?!!?!

I don't agree with just a regular individual owning these types of assault rifles or all of these weapons. What's your purpose? Hell what I own is good enough to kill someone trying to come in my house or rob me or for work.

I know WE HAVE THE RIGHT to own these weapons and that's how our grandfathers built our country. But I also think that most if not some, have taken advantage of the system and this is what happens when someone does.

It sucks either way. I think laws should be written for different people.
