Does it really pop up for you automatically? It never pops up for me. I have to go into the app manually and when I do, I get this:Originally posted by THE BOUNCER View Postdid google now cards come up for you yet? way home from gym it popped up telling me it was 11 minutes to home and traffic was clear. it will do that from wherever you are as long as you have your home addy saved in navigation.

Only when I tap on the "more" cards at the bottom, I get the traffic card.

Cool.. that did it, thanks Turbo! But Bouncer makes it sound as though the traffic info would pop up on the screen automatically.. almost as though the program was running in the background and was sensing where I was based on the GPS. Now that would be useful if I was going to run into traffic a couple of miles down the road.

htc comes with swype. i hate it.Originally posted by Turbo3000 View PostYou both need to download SwiftKey keyboard.
i get the little google now icon in the upper left hand corner. then when you swype down it tells you "11 minutes to so and so" before you actually open up google now. I will take a screen shot of the notification i get when it happens next.Originally posted by Scrumhalf View PostDoes it really pop up for you automatically? It never pops up for me. that IS what it is doing!! but no it doesnt pop up on your screen, it simply gives you a little info icon letting you know google now has some info for you if you want it.Originally posted by Scrumhalf View Postalmost as though the program was running in the background and was sensing where I was based on the GPS. Kind of. I get the same notifications that you are getting. But i think Scrum is also looking for it to basically give traffic update notifications in real time, which mine doesn't do.Originally posted by THE BOUNCER View Postthat IS what it is doing!! but no it doesnt pop up on your screen, it simply gives you a little info icon letting you know google now has some info for you if you want it.

i dont know what the hell it is, it just comes with that sort of option on the keyboard, you just swipe your finger across and it draws like a yellow line.Originally posted by Turbo3000 View PostWow swype huh? I recommended swift key. It isn't swipe, just try it out.

Swift and swype are entirely different; despite the fact they both start with the letter 'S' lol.
Swift keyboard is an aftermarket keyboard app that is more accurate, predictive and forgiving of typos than the native keyboards. However, the speech to text is not very good. It does not allow you to keep talking like Google speech.

Again, swift key doesn't involve any sort of swiping, drawing, coloring, or word scrambling.Originally posted by THE BOUNCER View Posti dont know what the hell it is, it just comes with that sort of option on the keyboard, you just swipe your finger across and it draws like a yellow line.

SwiftKey is a regular keyboard that learns from your text input.
