Finally got the jellybean update for my phone, few questions.

Swift and swype are entirely different; despite the fact they both start with the letter 'S' lol.

Swift keyboard is an aftermarket keyboard app that is more accurate, predictive and forgiving of typos than the native keyboards. However, the speech to text is not very good. It does not allow you to keep talking like Google speech.

i get the little google now icon in the upper left hand corner. then when you swype down it tells you "11 minutes to so and so" before you actually open up google now. I will take a screen shot of the notification i get when it happens next.

that IS what it is doing!! but no it doesnt pop up on your screen, it simply gives you a little info icon letting you know google now has some info for you if you want it.

I don't get the icon.. damn, now this is pissing me off. I've got to figure out how to get it to run in the background, dammit. lol...

Just google a local business, then check google now, or wait a minute and it should be in your notification bar.

have you looked in your google now settings? this screen. do your traffic settings look like? see where it says notifications? what are yours set at?

This is the little stuff that makes google now kinda cool.

I ordered some supps the other day. because its connected to my email it figured i might like this info so it made it available. just that little convenience of not having to go into your email etc.. its not anything special but the guesses it makes at what info you will be interested in is pretty good.

Again, swift key doesn't involve any sort of swiping, drawing, coloring, or word scrambling.

SwiftKey is a regular keyboard that learns from your text input.

The new update on SwiftKey actually includes the ability to swipe :lmao:

Bouncer, SwiftKey is the one I recommend months ago because it was the closest thing to the iPhone type keyboard.
