Happy holidays vs merry xmas

I feel its wrong to tell any group they cant say and call the holiday what they like to... No reason people who say merry christmas should be forced to abandon it for the feeling of others... why should their feelings have priority over what has been the norm since the founding of our country? if you dont believe in it...thats fine and your right to do so...but you shouldnt infringe the rights and stop the people who do from it.

The whole PC thing is getting way over blown in this country... fuck you is what I say... this country was founded on certain morals and principles. It should not have to bend over and break traditions for a few. I say believe in what you will...but dont force others to stop what they do for the sake of the few who dont like it...

WAY blown out of proportion. Regardless of what anyone chooses to say, it's not going to please everyone. There is no "one size fits all" with holidays, religion, or anything else for that matter.


It makes me sad that my children don't get to have holiday parties, Halloween parades, etc at school because of all this bullshit. It's strictly business. :rolleyes:

it's pretty sad. when i was younger, i looked forward to the christmas parties in school. it was the one time that almost everyone dropped everything and just had fun. now teachers are walking on thin ice about holidays.

the parents that force the schools to create a "inclusive" environment are setting their kids up for failure in the future. those kids will always find a way to draw distinctions between themselves and everyone else. they won't be accepting of different cultures at all.

Yeah its become all politically correct and everyone is scared about offending someone. Its ridiculous. I love when people say holiday tree LOL. years ago only jews would say happy holidays. most ppl don't care and say Merry Christmas
