Movie seems dark but I don't see anything dark about superman's character.

That's the point. Superman does not have any warts. He's as pure as the driven snow. Batman on the other hand is constantly teetering on the brink - always struggling with the dark side. That's the beauty of the character. And yes, the movie guys have to make the movie darker to make it more than a children's cartoon show, so I'm not arguing with what they are doing.

lol. Here I thought you had good general taste. Movie was slightly better then all the spider man trash which isn't saying much. Nothing at all compared to the dark knight series. Avengers is second best action hero movie. Xmen First Class is third.

Though I hear the newest capt america is damn good.

In your words, it was a mindless fun action movie. The action scenes made my house feel like it was exploding and the enemy soldiers armor made them look so bad ass.

It was ten times better than any Spiderman. Those movies are just silly little love stories with very little action.

Man of steel has some of the best superhero movie action scenes ever. Superman finally moves like superman should.

Every comic character has it's powers and weaknesses. Just stick with the original character. You'd say the same thing if all of a sudden batman started to have some super powers and start to fly and shit.

Don't wanna spoil the movie for the ones that haven't seen it yet but, he is just a human as strongest a human can be. There are a few scenes in the movie he does things that a human shouldn't do.

And I'm just gonna leave it at that for now. :grin:
