Erath Pinot Noir $15-$20
This is one to try FB. A red that didn't give me the normal heart burn issues. The taste is very similar to a white actually, maybe that's why I like it. Very smooth without that "harshness" that I seem to have such an issue with in most reds.

I'll look into it. I'm not in the camp of "nothing else compares to red" like everyone else here. I like some red, but I prefer white as a whole. There are some very good white wines out there.
I'll have to get the exact name from my parents, but there is a red they buy that is VERY good. I know it's at least $50 a bottle, which is why I drink it at their house

You're really not drinking all these bottles. You go to Costco, take pictures, look up reviews and chop it up to make look like you're own:DOriginally posted by THE BOUNCER View PostErath Pinot Noir $15-$20

You're much of a prissy to be drinking all that wine and sugar:P

Find me a white wine that I can drink at room temp and that taste as good as a nice Cabernet...I'd be really interested to hear your opinion.
I have tried numerous white wines, cold or room temp and nothing like a nice red cabernet. Maybe it's my palate from drinking IPA or double IPA beers and strong Cabernet wine. I feel as if when I drink white wine, it's too soft for me.
For example; everyone loves Bud or Miller light. I've had myself. But I feel it's not strong enough for me. Almost like when I roll or lift, I don't go half ass; I go all out:D

B - you might want to check out some red table wines, too. Since they are generally a blend, they aren't so harsh or dry. I just bought this one because one of my regulars recommended it. It's from a winery in Florida - which is scary. We're too hot to be growing grapes. :P It's not bad at all.
San Sebastian Vintners Red ~$9.99

11% alcohol by volume. Would have to drink that pretty fast to get a buzz. We gonna need something stronger for whine and wine night. :whistle
Gonna try this crap tonight. The famous "$2 buck Chuck" (now $3 lol) they sell at Trader Joes. I dont have high expectations on this one.

It's really not that bad. Aldi has one, too. I don't think I cared for that one too much.

Surprisingly, your right. It's drinkable and I have a buzz for $3.
I don't understand why such a cheap wine can't simply put a screw cap on the god damn bottle. The cork they use is so cheap it fell into the fucken bottle in multiple pieces as I was screwing in the cork screw remover. :cursin:

Rookie.
And what the hell, "surprisingly" I'm right. :disagree:

I went to a wine pairing dinner at an upscale European restaurant over the weekend. I sat with the owner and the speaker, all of them French. Turns out, I am not. I drank so much wine and.....let's just say I didn't fare well. :x
I won't be trying out any new wines anytime soon, I don't think. :whistle

^ The Kim Crawford was fucking amazing. I have never had a wine with so many flavors hitting you at one time. My new favorite.Originally posted by THE BOUNCER View Post^^^ That was nothing like butter. Harsh and sour. Tasted like urine.
Going to try this one later. Costco had it in the "must try" isle. $16.99

This one is a great summer wine, crisp and refreshing.
