    Got ya.

Since you have the experience I would be interested in your thoughts on the Cloudy Bay sauvignon blanc I posted. That is probably the most "sophisticated" white I have had. The flavors and the way they hit is something I haven't had in any other wine.

I'll make a point to try it. I am in no way claiming to be some expert but I do have a great appreciation for wines.

Another point worth making is wine pairing. When it comes to drinking wines with foods it truly does make the experience completely different. A red doesn't compliment a nice fish dinner just like a white wouldn't hold up to a robust beef or lamb.

La Crema - Sonoma Coast Chardonnay $23

One of the smoothest whites I've tasted. Chardonnay typically has a slight bite on the finish that I don't care for. Not this one.

Their Pinot Noir is delicious too.

My favorite wine from any of the vineyards we visited. A Gewurztraminer, whatever that is lol. Complex and simple at the same time. Super smooth.

My 3rd favorite chardonnay after Butter and Cake Bread. Perfect balance between dry and sweet.

After trying all the different Chardonnays, check out the one I posted and give me a comparison.
