I will say that female pits are (or should say usually are) total sweethearts. My buddy has two of them and they're just awesome. Pits get the bad wrap bc of fighting, but they are actually considered one of the best "family dogs". I grew up with 2 dobies as a kid, but I think if I decide to take on the commitment, it will be #1 female pit, or # 2 female boxer. The wife seems to think we are getting a German Shepherd. Yeah rite, fuck all that long ass hair all over my place.lol
