    MUTHER F********ERS!!!!!

    So Our company policy has always been we can roll over leave and build it up. I have always kept 30 vacation days on the books and then use the 3 weeks I earn each year. A rainy day fund if you will incase of emergencys. I can always take time off and not loose pay.

    It was our understanding that we would get paid out if contracts ever changed...

    Today we are told contractor is changing 1 jan...they are NOT going to pay us out..use all vacation time before 1 jan or loose it.. So instead of 5 weeks pay in a check and working as I should Im forced to take the vacation time and loose all that extra money thats been saved for years while they have been drawing intrest on it. Crooked motherfuckers..

    So I have to take 30 days off work between now and Dec 31...and Im out about 6 grand... just fucking great!

        Sucks man, sorry to hear that! Reminds me of when I got fucked outta money in my IRA before...Take it positive though bro, now you're forced to take some true time off, and get paid for it at the same time. Could actually be a blessing in disguise :agreed: I know what you're saying though about losing that "safety net".

              My work does the same shit. Already took a vacation and have a week left still. Been saving it for when I move my family outta this damn 2 bedroom apt, but havn't found the right house yet. Can't accumulate hours, have to be used by anniversary date or I lose them (in february). So, looks like I might be taking a vaca when it's 20 degrees out-sitting on my fuckin couch.lol maybe take around x-mas time to spend more qt with the little one and wife

                  So...it's not really that you're "losing" money, it's just vacation that they've given you and now you have to take it, right?

                    Make lemonade bro, you get thirty days off between now and the new year..book that shit asap so you can do something cool as hell over the holidays.

                    Same thing happened to me working for a municipality. For me the lesson learned was that shit on paper can always be moved in a split second. So I started adjusting my finances to have that same type of net, but on my terms, not worrying about getting fucked. It sucked, and was a pain in the ass, but I am better for it actually. Go kill something!!! WOOOT!!!

                          FB, basically they are keeping the money and making me take my vacation time earned. Instead of me getting to cash it out and banking it while I still work and get paid...

                          Oh I got a lot of time off planed fuck it Im gonna be a hunting bitch... probably do a short ride or to as well..:agreed:







                          Already put the smack down on 2 bucks and a doe this weekend also got Brandon his first deer. so 4 down total... Its killing season...:thumb: come duck season I got a hell of a plan on the days to hunt..if they are here this year with the migration...there will be feathers flying!!
