If I didn't have to constantly drive around the country for work I would DEFINITELY lease.... But I just bought a used 2012 4 wheel drive silverado less than 4 months ago and almost have 12,000 miles on it...

            .

That's crazy. I've had my truck like 9 months and it already has almost 13k on it. I don't even feel like I drive all that much.

depends on where you live i think. i feel like i drive all the fucking time but considering the traffic is much worse in my area i probably spend the same amount of time in the car as you just sitting still while you put on the miles. damn that sucks now that i think about it.

Yes, but you can 'game' it if you work it just right. Example: I have a 2012 Jag on a 4-year lease at 12K mi/year. I got into the car Dec 2012 when they wanted to dump the 2012 for 2013 inventory so I got an awesome deal. So at about 2.5 years I will start to look at a car I want to get into during the 3rd year of my lease. When you move out of a lease early, the mileage limits are calculated on your allowance for the full-term - in my case I have 48K to use. So if I get out in my 3rd year and trade into another lease, that is 48K/3yrs = 16K year I can really put on the car without paying any extra when I turn it in. So I will prob turn it in at about 45K, and because I did the deal right going in, I won't owe anything after they roll me into another deal. Caveat: you need to use the same finance company to make this work - so don't do a dealer-brand-finance or you have to keep rolling into leases from - let's use Bouncer's Lexus as an example here - Toyota Motor Credit.

                Hope that makes sense.

Leasing is 10x better than buying - always bought my cars in the past - last one was a few years ago on a Land Rover and I never sold it and ended up just keeping it as it plummeted in value like a fucking boat anchor and I couldn't let it go at what it is worth vs what my dumb ass paid for it.

You have a far drive to work? I bought my explorer almost 2 years ago and I've only put 12,500 miles on it.lol Work has been a 5 min drive tho, school 25 miles round trip...average 7,500 miles a year or about 650 miles a month give or take

No, it's probably less than 10 miles - and I only work like 5 or 6 days a month anyway. I did recently go to Ft lauderdale, going to Tampa tomorrow, etc, - those are lengthy trips, so I guess it's all that stuff. :disagree: :P

                        Nice looking car.

I'm not big fan on SUV's but my wife needed a new car so be went out and bought a brand new 2014 Ford Explorer Sport. I love the look of this explorer plus it has a twin turbo and all the extras.

But yeah that lexus looks sweet.

I was saving for a Z06 but I guess that's going to have to wait.

                        I drive a 2006 G35 Coupe

When I was at the ford dealership I was looking at the 2014 Shelby GT 500. They started that bitch and sounded sweet. It was selling for $66,000. Over 600hp

I love mustangs, owned 2 LX 5.0 and a 98 Cobra. When they change the body style in 2005 I hated it. But now since they've been changing the style up a bit, it's started to look good.
