What are you talking about? I only have been fucking around with beast from the other thread. Other than that I've been very informative and on topic.

I love the damn thing. Remember how we talked about it's more fun to drive the spors car with less horsepower at near it's limit than a sports car with high horsepower?

Well, this is it. Suspension is just firm enough to have fun with without beating you up on daily driving and everything else is put together just right.

Back to the tint...like I said IMO there is no need to go darker than 35% in the front and doesn't matter how dark you go in the back it won't make the car look ugly or weird.

According to turbos post of Bouncers state laws only 35% is legal for all windows. So there ya have it.

I got front 35% rear 20 (all my cars have the same combo) and it still looks great. Here in Cali no front tint allowed and there is no limit on how dark you can go in the back.

Hate super dark tint because of the fact that you can't see shit at night.

Like I said, 35% front and 20% rear and it's plenty dark even with my full glass panoramic roof shade open letting all the light in from the top.

One of our vehicles has a tinted windshield and it is really nice.

You need to get 30% all around. A cop won't be able to tell if you are running 35% or 30% unless he puts the meter on it, which he may do if you get pulled over for a different reason.

    Get 30% then.

You should also check on the tint law, I just did a quick google search and it looks like you CAN NOT have the front windows tinted in your state. You should check and see what the current law states.

Never mind, here is the current law info:
    Illinois
Car window tint laws in Illinois were enacted in 2009. Below you can find information on how dark and reflective the car window tint can be in state of Illinois, as well as other rules and regulations you need to know about.
How dark can your window tint be in Illinois?

Window tint darkness is measured by Visible Light Transmission percentage (VLT%). In Illinois this refers to the percent of visible light allowed in through both the film and the glass. You can find out exactly how much VLT is allowed on your auto window tint in Illinois, categorized by sedans and SUVs and vans.
    TINT DARKNESS FOR SEDANS:
Windshield: Non-reflective tint is allowed on the top 6 inches of the windshield.
Front Side windows: Must allow more than 35% of light in.
Back Side windows: Must allow more than 35% of light in.
Rear Window: Must allow more than 35% of light in.

I have had all variations of tint. Once had the entire front windshield done in 30% and it was amazing, the sun didn't bother me at all without sunglasses.

I currently have 30% and it is fine. I just didn't want to be hassled by the police (rocking 5% tint), so I finally got a legal percentage.

It's not really a matter of being able to tell if it's illegal or not just by looking at it. It has more to do with the fact of finding a legitimate shop that will do illegal percentages and still give you the lifetime warranty on the tint. It sucks if your tint starts to peel off or bubble and the corner shop that you had do you're a legal tint is no longer in existence.
