    Thats true a lot of people don't even know what bitcoin is.
    Looks like the bottom price was $212-$215 it's going up now over $230. I was hoping for under $200 I bought a few in January when it got as low as $162.

    October 2009 first exchange rate published listing the value of 1309 bitcoins at $1.
    Spring 2010 Florida man offers 10,000 bitcoins to anyone on the forum to buy him pizza. Man in London accepts ordered him two pizzas. This is the first known bitcoin transaction.
    November 2010 price soars to $0.50 per coin
    February 2011 bitcoin hits $1
    June 2011 price hits $31
    Man decides to sell a few hundred thousand coins causes price to crash. Bitcoin exchange is also hacked people get scared panic sell price goes to $2 by end of the year.
    2012 was boring price stayed between ~ $5-13 all year
    April 2013 bitcoin hits $100
    Summertime bitcoin hits $266 then crashes to $70
    November 1st price is around $150 by end of month it hit record high of $1100.
    2014 biggest bitcoin exchange is hacked $400,000,000 dollars in bitcoins disappear.
    U.S exchanges are shutdown due to operating illegally. Community is shaken bitcoin becomes worst performing currency of 2014. Started the year $900 ended at around $320.
