Kind of like taking adex to combat the sides of testosterone. This can be further expanded upon but you get the point.

I like what you said about how people want to force feed our kids pills. Some bitch parent tried to tell my wife that my son needed medication to calm down because he was too hyper at school. Sorry my boy was having a good time and being a kid, you can go fuck yourself. I wanted to punch that fat bitch for months.

It definitely isn't a new diagnosis. You probably just don't normally hear it specified as Lewy Body, but rather just dementia. Dementia is a terrible suffering for the patient and the family members.

The Healthcare discussion on here are becoming comical.

Forgot diagnosing, we just tell everyone they are fucked up. Lol.

I don't make ridiculous claims about the world of physics, engineering, or any other field that I don't work in. People go to the doctor and somehow become experts in Healthcare.

yea turbo misdiagnoses and an over medicated society isn't an issue at all. experts are always right and things shouldn't be questioned. kids a little hyper so lets give him a pill. no your right... anyone who isn't a doctor can speak on it..

Haha. You have been an odd bird lately.

The topics you mentioned weren't even what I was speaking about.

We are extremely over medicated. I would bet that 90% of kids on ADD/ADHD medication don't really need that shit. I have taken it and I wouldn't give it to my child. I quit taking it because it was god awful. It did help me focus, but I would rather day dream than tweak.

What did you take? Sounds like something old school.

There is definitely a difference is kids who need the help and kids that don't. I have two sons and one definitely needs the help . Unfortunately most people only want to deal with filling the rx's and not the more important pieces. What I'm talking about is my son sees a psychiatrist and a psychologist. One monitors the meds, the other helps with behavior.

Now my other son can get out of control too, but when you have one kid with adhd it's easy to tell the other one is just being a kid.

I also have adhd but didn't get diagnosed until I was an adult. I have tried a few different types of meds and the type can have a big difference in each person.

When you say your son gets out of control what do you mean?

A PA to our regular pediatrician tried to tell me my daughter had ADHD. I walked out. She's hyper and hard to get to focus, throws violent fits, etc. She's a kid. Much different than her sister. We put her gymnastics which she fell in love with and she is like a totally different kid most of the time. Finding something to focus their "extra" energy is very important. We were lucky and found something quickly.

That's the thing, humans are expected to fit this mold that is artificial. Kids are not designed to sit still and be quiet for hours and hours. Fuck the mold society wants you to fit in. ADD and ADHD is made up horse shit. Let the fucken kid run around in circles if they want. It's natural. Get them involved in physical activities and tire them the fuck out. Jesus Christ were losing it.

                          Adderall.

I see doctors prescribing it to 5 year old children. Ridiculous. I believe some people may need some pharmacotherapy for attention, but I think the percentage is extremely low compared to the actual number.

That's what my PCP started me on before I went to a psychiatrist. That definitely has an addictive effect. Most psychiatrist don't prescribe it anymore since there are much newer medications that give the benefits without most to all those sides. I take Concerta. My son has gone through many of the medications. Concerta and Focalin worked ok for him, but now he is on Vyvanse and that seems to be a real good fit.

Bouncer I have thought a lot of how to respond or even if I care to. You sound very close minded to the subject of mental health and seem waiting to just attack any response given.

It's important to have names for the different types of mental health diagnosis. Without it, treatment can't be provided properly and even worse incorrectly. The problem is the people looking to fit into a category to use it as an excuse to not try instead of using it to improve mental health.

Plenty of psychiatrist prescribe Adderall. Vyvanse was designed to curb abuse. They are all stimulants. Only 1 drug approved for ADD is a non stimulant.

Tkd I apologize, I think my Deca is actually tren or something. Lol.

I realize mental health can be a complicated subject and I know there is a whole lot i don't have a clue about. My only point was that if your little girl or boy can't sit still in the class room that's completely normal and medication in that case is a mistake.
