"It's incredibly bothersome that someone who knows the devastation, is a doctor and a public figure, still doesn't give enough of a shit to stick by a quarantine. It's incredibly selfish and disappointing.

This is why the way Ebola is being handled in the US is going to remain a mess until a vaccine or cure is found. It's already obvious that the US wasn't ready and isn't ready if it gets more serious."
But I'm sure the cameraman did everything by the book in Africa lol.

I agree Scrum. You seem to be getting fired up over the issue. I have been avoiding a lot of those threads. Lol.

              Africa.
They gave the world aids by fucking monkeys, and Ebola by eating them.

I really think we made a mistake bringing those initial Ebola patients over here. They were cured so easily it gave the government, media, and general public a sense that we have this under control and it is easily treatable. It gave everyone that might have been more worried and a bit more careful a sense of relief and they let their guard down.

I don't think it's fair. We can not keep letting people from other countries fly in for medical care. I know those nurses were following protocol, wearing personal protective equipment, and all of the safety measures they were taught. I mean, why wouldn't they have been? They knew what they were dealing with. It's just awful. :(

agree. considering the current situation with ebola. nobody should be flown into this country with the disease.

on top of that. I feel that the entire country of africa or at the very least the 3 highly infected states of africa should be completely quarantined. Nobody in, nobody out. lock down all border crossings, airports, sea ports etc.. I realize this is a very extreme step that may make some role their eyes. BUT this outbreak is also very extreme and sometimes you need to fight fire with fire.

Since incubation is 2-21 days, the two workers quite possibly got contaminated by the same slip up. I'm willing to bet this second person will give more insight as to where the protocol chain got infected.

                          whats going on over there!?

I would've thought the US would have this shit on lock down.

I'm with you Bouncer lock this shit down no one in or out and definitely no flying infected home.

Quarantine the sick and let them die out in a mater of weeks and months the entire disease is gone.

Its extreme and not moral but its the only thing to do to stop another world wide plague.

You almost have to laugh at this shit at this point. Apparently the 2nd ebola nurse called the CDC several times before she got on a plane..

Sounds like Rodger Goodell is in charge of the CDC too.
