Thanks chuck. :)Originally posted by chuckz28 View PostMan those are great shots! You rrally have your settings dialed in. What camera are you using Beast?
I shoot with Canon 5D Mark III, which is a pro camera. Most of the pictures are shot in manual mode and some in aperture priority but in either case it is never the same setting even for the same picture. Settings might change depending on the angle and the lighting of the picture.
Car shots were taken with canon's cheapest lens it's called nifty fifty, only hundred bucks and known to produce great images. :D

Very nice. I could tell you know what you are doing and it was above the low end DSLR. I suspected Cannon as well. Excellent color saturation and very low noise for indoor shots. Difficult shots to get right.Originally posted by BEAST View PostThanks chuck. :)

I use an old Nikon D40. It is a bit dated now but is is very small and light and is good enough for most home photos. Doesn't have a sensor wiper though which sucks because every time I take it hiking all the jostling around gets stuff on the sensor that I end up having to clean off and edit out. Cleaning that thing is like performing surgery. I would like something that has a little less noise at higher ISO as well. 800 even shows significant noise compared to newer cameras. I don't have enough lenses to be committed to Nikon by any means but I am familiar with their controls. I might have to upgrade in a few years.

Yeah between the noise control and sensor cleaning it's totally worth to upgrade. I have shot pictures at ISO 12400 with minimum noise and it makes life so much easier.
Scurum is the other photographer on the board and while I shoot hot girls he shoots birds so he doesn't post much.

Went to the zoo today and got caught up in a downpour but still had fun. Because it was cooler most of the animals were out having fun in the rain.

I was taking pictures of the giraffe and this couple walked in to the frame. Made it black and white and it looks cool. :0
