The Cowboys still would need a td, then go for 2 to be up by 3. Then stop the Packers from getting in field goal to simply tie. That's still a lot of if's.

They would have had the ball on the 1 yard line? You don't think the #1 running back in the NFL could have scored a td with 1st and goal on the 1? lol - I agree that it would have been tough to stop the Packers offence but they got robbed with that call. Game changer for sure but that's the way it goes. They got a lucky call the week before so maybe this was payback. :)

I'm sure they would get the TD with 4 tries. But then they need to convert 2 point play to be up by 3. Not an easy thing to do at all. Then they are only up by 2 and ask the best QB in the game right now has to do is get them in field goal range for one of the 3 most accurate kickers this season.
The point is you can't say that one play lost them the game. Ask the Lions about still needing to play the rest of the game after a bad call. And like it or not, if was the correct call on the field. Can't blame the refs, the rule just needs to be better defined.

it changed the whole vibe of the game. suddnely rodgers who was not himself all game started playing 50% better. dallas was mentally fucked by that call. dallas was the better team up until that play.
I never denied that. It had an effect and that happens in so many games. My point has always been though that the catch alone wouldn't have insured the Cowboys a win by any means.
