Frank, may sound like a silly question, but you do have the xbox connected to the internet right? I have X1 and don't have those issues. Yes a game does updates at first but it still isn't more than 10 minutes usually.

He said he has comcast so I would assume so.

One thing that seems to help especially with the next gen consoles is having a direct connection rather than using wifi. Worth a try frank if your using wifi.

This was addressed right after both systems came out with side to side comparisons. The Xbox took typically 3x as long to install the same games as the ps4 off of a disc. Nothing to do with internet connections.

Still, with hours passing and an update not being complete sounds exactly like a connection issue not the xbox.

Yea but frank is specifically talking about updates via download..

            Nothing to do with disk.

I have Comcast but not that new X1 system they have out now. Maybe it's a problem with the wifi? I have noticed that my phone keeps dropping and reconnecting to the wifi for some reason. I'll try bring the Xbox down and plugging it right into the cable.

Yup, it's the wifi. I would almost guarantee a direct connection will fix your issue. Or try getting the wifi router up higher on a shelf away from other electronics if possible.

There will still be updates but it shouldn't be hours and hours. Basic comcast high speed should be more than enough.

Battlefield Hardline runs at 900p on PlayStation 4, 720p on Xbox One | EGMNOW

I wouldn't play this game regardless but still pretty lame for both consoles IMO.

I think Battlefield is fun and requires you to work as a team unlike Call of Duty.

Just like Uncharted 4 on PS4, Quantum Break may be delayed to 2016 as well.

Bouncer Microsoft will beat Sony. Lower price will drive sales up especially new Halo bundle for $349.

With the new Halo bundle sales should shift in favor of the Xbox.
