This damn dress is driving me nuts. I have only ever seen black and blue. I watched a thing on tv this morning that showed the dress, and stated the girl the originally asked the question confirmed it was indeed black and blue.

It's simply a lack of communication. No one thinks it looks the black and blue of what the dress really is. But those saying black and blue are leaving everyone to assume they see the deep black and blue instead of explaining they see a grayish shade of black and a really light blue color.

If this was stated then it would be obvious we are debating slight variations in what we see instead of claiming to see colors from the opposite ends of the spectrum.
