That's exactly what it is here. 50-60's a night. Perfect sleeping weather. Just more like Vegas during the day. About 10-15 degrees hotter then LA.

Worst thing about Cali.. Ants! Guess because it's so nice year round the winter never kills anything off. If you leave a dirty plate in the sink over night you will be greeted by an army of ants in the morning. Gotta keep kitchen spotless at all times for sure.

If you are having ants problem it's your building don't blame it on Cali. :grin:

Call your apartment manager and have take care of it. That shouldn't be happening.

You Florida peeps used to that extreme humidity would feel like your on a different planet out here. Its way easier to workout here. (Comfort level and breathing). Cali peeps would drop dead working out back east in summer.

The first trip I ever took to Vegas was in August, the hottest time of the year. I am so accustomed to the Florida heat and humidity, that the oven heat made me feel nauseated and like I couldn't breathe.

Vegas is August averages 120 degrees. That's extreme for sure. 90 with no humidity is much more doable.

I moved out to vegas for 6 months years back for work. Did hvac (heating and air conditioning, ductwork, installs etc). Almost no houses out there have basements due to the soil type, so all furnaces/equipment are up in everybody's attics. So, i got to crawl around and rip out old units and put new ones in up in attics...when its over 100 degrees outside, it was almost pure death to work up in there. One time i measured the temp on my digital thermometer and it was 163 degrees! So hot i would puke from heat exaustion, almost pass out.lol. Fuck las vegas, you couldnt pay me to live out there again. From june thru august it was over 100 degrees for the high almost every single day...hit a record high of 124 degrees on july 4th...just plain miserable

Its midnight and even though it was 90 today, its perfect window open sleeping weather now with only 25% humidity. In Chicago right now its almost 80 with 80% humidity sticky and muggy if windows open.
