yes please.Originally posted by urso8up
I have a friend that owns a TV store and sells Direct Tv crap I will ask him if i talk to him today and let you knwo what hew says
these are the keys:
1. it works with no scrambling (or actually loss of horizontal hold) when i use the co-ax output from the direct tv reciever to the TV so it tells me there's nothing wrong with satellite.
2. it has been scrambling everytime i watch TV since it was installed but when i watched a movie using the DVD player pluged into the same component input as the direct TV on my TV-set, i did not have a problem. so that rules out to me a problem with the TV input jacks.
3. i've tried 3 different recievers (i have 2 - one in the bedroom and one in the living room - before i got the new set, i swapped the two and the same thing happened). and now it's happening with the new reciever.
4. i changed the component cables last night, it works better but still scrambles - albeit not as often.
it still tells me it's the reciever, but i can't believe that i'd have that many bad recievers at once!!!!!
