Sounds very similar to one of the guys I work with. His fix was a chiropractor. Said lack of movement in two of his vertebrae began a fusion causing nerve pinching. He had to do 3 visits per week for a month then a month of 1 visit per week. From there on just one readjustment every 6 months. He says it was the best money he's ever spent. Not a permenant fix because he was starting to get degeneration but he doesn't have the pain like before and rarely gets the feeling down his arm like before.
I know traditional medicine doesn't go with chiropractic practices much but it worked really well for him. I should note that the first week he didn't feel any better, almost worse before it got better. But once they loosened him all up and the cracking started he felt tons of relief. Worth a shot.
Edit: nvm I missed the spot you said you tried that. Curious how many visits you had though.
