She pissed on the carpet for the first time in 2 weeks literally 5 minutes after I posted this...

Thank god for "totally awesome" carpet cleaner and baking soda.

Meant to post this the other day. Anyone who has a strong chewer at home these things are just the best. Keeps the dogs attention unlike rawhide which my dogs walk away from after 5 minutes.

Little expensive, $25 for 12 sticks at Costco but its a $25 well spent to keep your dog from chewing up your furniture.

I've used these for years with a Rottweiler, Boxer, French Mastiff, and now an Amstaff, no better chew product out there IMO.

Each stick will last a strong chewer about a day or 2 on average.

They were playing and she got a little rough. Boxer warned her a few times to calm down. She bit him harder and he grabbed her chest in his mouth and shook her. Wasn't very bad or long just a warning but it caused a little cut on her neck which got everywhere! Carpet and wall! Once again, thank god for totally awesome all purpose cleaner, shit is magic.

I'll have to limit that kind of play. Don't want that sort of thing to get much worse especially once she is grown.

I'll tell ya. Cali doesn't know the meaning of being a girl. She runs into shit head first and doesn't even flinch. She just bulls through everything.. Chairs, Legs, tables, whatever.

FB the Boxer is sooo good with her. He had more patience with her then you could believe. She is super intense and has hurt him multiple time by jumping on his face while he is sound asleep. LoL.

I won't let it happen again but I do admit I was a little bit happy he put her in her place because usually he doesn't and she was starting to think she ran the place.

My boxer turned 8 last month. He injured his knee a couple years ago and if he plays real hard he limps for a day or so. Well age is against him now, I took him to a friend's to have a boxer play date and at the end of the day I had to carry him to the car and carry him in to the house. In the morning, I had to hold his hips as he wobbled to his food bowl. Tears in my eyes.

After a couple of days rest and some doggy aspirin he's back to his old self but damn it's hard to watch the sign of things to come.

Sorry to hear blm, it really does suck. I went through the leg thing with the Rottweiler when I was in high school and more recently with the french mastiff who had knee problems from 10 weeks old till she died.

I've been lucky with the boxer, he has been the healthiest damn dog I ever had, never an issue. He's 12 now and I swear he still rips around the house doing those boxer helicopter spins. I got lucky with him for sure.
