    Haha.. a band of brothers covering each other's asses behind the thin blue line.

    Not sure why these police chiefs keep blaming the WH or Washington for their problems. Lets see - get out of your armored cars, do community policing, actually help people instead of shooting them, you know, be police instead of soldier, and maybe you won't have these problems.

    Others wrongs do not make his actions correct. He is still just as wrong as he was.
    Just because media manipulation exists and they use "the race card" to "sell papers" in no way changes that this guy used excessive force and handled himself in a manner that is inconsistent with proper police procedure.
    Piling on the wrongs will never make his wrong a right. That being said I think the whole picture should be shown but of course the media isn't doing that.

    I'll admit that there is absolutely a double standard.

    But you are absolutely 100% incorrect in that what he did was a good thing. He strengthened the opposition and gave them ammo by lowering his standards as a professional.
