Sherlock on Netflix

Watched the series finally last night. All in all it's one of the greatest series of all time. The time and effort put into making such a think tank of a show must have been exhausting. Absolutely fucken brilliant.

Bit disappointed with the last episode a bit. They got away from who they were and tried to turn it into a bond movie a bit. Still brilliant but not their best. Thought they spent to much time on the sister and not enough time bring the series to a proper end. Would have liked to have seen mycroft being a bit more helpful as well.

Finally got around to watching this. Watched the first two episodes of Season 1.

I hesitated for a long time because I am such a fan of the books and the original canon, it seemed almost sacriligeous to mess with it and take liberties. But I've got to say, it's really well made.

I like the fact that they take little pieces of the original Conan Doyle stories to stick into the new episodes. Like the pills in the first episode by the guy with an aneurysm - that was an actual story detail in one of the original novels. And the murders in the second where a small person scaled buildings and climbed in to commit the crimes.

it continues to get better and better. you will be amazed by the acting and everything about the show. just brilliant. the relationship between sherlock and Watson in this particular series is something i really liked. you'll see what i mean, it's a little different but in a very good way.
