i really think its hard for any president do anything at this point. god himself would struggle to get a fucken thing done with all the god damn road blocks and 9 month vacations that the 900 year olds take in the Senate.

IMO the president is just a face for the public but the real shit happens behind the scenes and off the record.

I think post 9/11 the gov is so drastically changed that it would be unrecognizable to anyone who suddenly woke up from a 20 year old coma.

not saying obama would or wouldn't have been a great president. just saying that anyone in office today will actually have very little power to do much of anything.

I work with two guys from Puerto Rico a guy from Mexico and a woman from Mexico. All blue collar mechanics and they all want a wall built down there. Just weird that all the immigrants I work with are on that side when the media would have you think it is the opposite.

I doubt you'll read all 371 of these accomplishments, but here you go. I'll point out some of the highlights:

THE List of 371 Obama Accomplishments so far, With Citations

              1. As of January 2016, a record 64 consecutive months of overall job growth.

              2. As of January 2016, Unemployment drops below 5% for the first time in eight years and without a significant bubble. 4.9%

              3. As of April 2016, there have been 74 consecutive months of private sector job growth.

              4. In April 2016, new unemployment claims hit their lowest level since Nov. 1973.

              5. Oversaw a reduction in the federal budget deficit by two-thirds since taking office.

              6. Scolds Congress and gets passed a $305 billion highways bill, which will have the added benefit of created hundreds of thousands of new jobs and creating incentives for green cars.

              7. Ordered 65 executives who took bailout money to cut their own pay until they paid back all bailout money.

              8. Under Obama, the bottom 95% of taxpayers pay lower federal income taxes than at any time in the last 50 years, including under Reagan, or either Bush.

              etc...

There are seriously 371 items just like these on that page for you to read.

The decisions he made in 2008 during the worst financial crisis since the great depression. The bank bailouts, getting the FED to lower interest rates, bailing out GM which saved the company and millions of jobs - GM also paid back their loans. Do you remember in 2009 the stock market, the DOW was down to like 6,443 and now it's somewhere near 18,500? Think about that for a moment. The DOW tripled under Obama! People's retirements were saved. John Mccain would have let this whole financial situation crash and burn by doing nothing. This was Obama's greatest accomplishment.

For those of you who think Trump is going to win, do you actually understand how the electoral college works? It's not about how many VOTES you get it's how many STATES you win. There are only a handful of swing states that actually matter and the odds are stacked against Trump. High delegate states like California and New York for example are already spoken for, they are blue and they belong to Hillary.

You've got Florida, Iowa, Virgina maybe, Ohio those are really the only states that matter. If Hillary gets Florida and Ohio then it's basically over. And she'll get Virgina because thats where here VP is from. Why do you really think she chose Tim Kaine?

Think about this, very few of these people will vote for Trump over Hillary:

                - Black People
                - Hispanic People
                - Women
                - Millenials
                - Other minorities

The deck is stacked against trump and the only site you need to follow for statistics is fivethirtyeight. This guy Nate Silver called the past two elections right on the money and here is the current status of this particular election. Hillary will get a boost after the DNC and will be up by double digits next week.

                http://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/...ex_cid=rrpromo

Hillary will win and it probably won't even be close.

                  1 - 4 would have happened anyway
5 - doubt it, Dems love to spend
6 - maybe, but Bush put it in motion
7 - 8 who cares just fluff sounds good on paper nothing really

I'm a fool if I don't think people want him elected? I'm sure there are people who want him elected. There were also people who wanted John McCain and Sarah Palin elected, but it didn't happen. Obama won in a landslide of electoral college votes and again in 2012 against Romney it was a bit closer but still basically a landslide.

Obama has been an incredible president. If you go back to 2008 and read all the fear mongering back then about what he was going to do to the country, how he was hitler, how he was a muslim, how he pal'd around with terrorists, how he attended a black racist church and then you look forward to now, 2016 none of that shit mattered. We are in a pretty good spot right now, especially with the economy.

And the county is more divided than ever before. Obama the great divider. He wasn't transparent, as he campaigned. He wasn't incredible, sorry to burst your bubble. I would still take 8 more years of Obsma over 2 minutes of Hilary. That lady is the devil.

It's crazy how world events seem to be in trumps favor. Hilary looks worse everyday and crazy ass ignorant old trump seems more appealing even to the people that hated the fucker a few months ago.

the terrorism issue in Europe I think is helping him more than anything. people are suddenly saying "you know what, fuck tolerance and understanding, close the fucking boarder and kick these fucks out.

lets not forget, one of our greatest presidents during WW2 President Roosevelt basically put the japs and German in America in concentration camps or sent them back the fuck home. nobody seems to have any issue with that. infact he's one of our most celebrated presidents of all time.

the sad truth is, these mother fuckers are using our tolerance and freedom against us. fuck them, time to change the game.
