Had my xrays and ultra sound done today and it appears I have a torn lig at the top of my shoulder. I cant remember the name of it but it runs from the shoulder blade down to your bicep head. Hopefully I can get a copy to show you guys. It literally looks like a hole with a 3cm diameter. The lig has ripped off the bone at one point and their is a bunch of calcium build up where the bone has tried to heal itself.
I think this must have happened a while ago and slowly torn more because I have had it for a few years but never as much pain as last 6 months which is about the time I decided to take a break.
Just goes to show, dont push to hard trying to lift heavy etc. This is from trying to do heavy bench for years.
Hopefully they can fix it up. I havent seen the specialist yet but the ultra sound guy says they can stitch it to help it heal quicker but sometmes they can do more damgage than good. Will have to wait and see what specialist says.
Absolutley no training allowed. Funny thing is , I have had all kinds of surgery for broken bones, lung surgey etc and never flinched. As soon as this guy told me I couldnt train and pointed at the hole on the screen I literally nearly passed out, got all sweaty and dizzy and had to lay down so I wouldnt fall over
