My room was private too. The whole floor I was on (neurology) was private. It was an end room so it was huge. I really didn't care since I was only there for a short period.

Meds they got me on. 230lbs hits the ground pretty hard so I'm definitely in some pain. Shoulder and back muscles hurt like a bitch, have to sleep sitting up for a few days. No long term damage just strains and aches, doc told me I'll need 2 weeks off from any activity. Feel like I've been 12 rounds with prime Mike Tyson.

Pain Killer, anti inflammatory, muscle relaxers.
