Well good luck brother, feel for you, lived in Hurricane Alley (Fl Keys) for over 15 years so I can relate.

I'll watch as it gets closer and decide. Filling up some 55 gal drum with water tonight for the ability to use toilets for at least a week if we loose power as I have well water. Plenty of food water on hand. Unless a cat 3 storm or larger actually hits in my area very little chance of flooding. The island is pretty high and it would take a hell of a storm surge to flood me out. Biggest issue I see is loss of power and trees falling on house. we have a lot of big old trees on the property. Had a good bit of limbs n stuff to clean up after the TS a few weeks ago with 40 MPH winds. they are saying if it don't change its track we will expect 70 MPH winds here on the coast.

Since my daughter is a fire fighter in the county..I just got a call from her. She just got the word everything east of I95 is going under a mandatory evacuation...that means me..
