Forecasting a 4 to 8 ft surge during high tide if it don't swing any farther west...predicting 80 MPH winds here on the coast now.. I sure hope all the trees stay upright and don't come thru the house. I know we will loose power just don't know for how long..Some of my neighbors who have marsh property have a good chance of surge issues. Looks like its gonna be a rough one. Hoping it shifts east a bit....time to strap in boys...

Watching to see how it zigs or zags...roads are packed with folks leaving...better to wait see what storm does and leave if needed when all traffic is cleared.. I have a place inland about an hour we can go to if needed. My thing is not wanting to leave due to scumbags running around robbing shit knowing houses are vacant. That happened about 12 or 15 years ago when they called for mandatory evacuations...people came home to no storm damage..but houses robbed. I got something for that ass if Those kind of low lifes try it..:thumb:

Damn..they just increased the evacuations made it mandatory and backed it inland about 7 more miles. Also updated rainfall to be around 15 inches along the coast..thats a lot of water!!

Also they just shut the interstate 16 down east bound...only west bound traffic...
