He's got a good voice for it but he is a bit on the small side for being the alpha dog. They should have had him run a cycle for the show.

Joker was awesome. However, he didn't have a code, and just ran off doing his own thing. Negean on the other hand broke down Rick and made him run away with his tail tucked in. He exposed Rick's weakness and literally brought him to his knees and made him weak in front of his own people. He also mentally breaks people down and gets inside their heads. Guy is fucking awesome

i can go along with all that. i just don't think the guy playing the role is very good. i'm very aware he is an actor playing a role. a good actor makes me forget he/she isn't real.

I agree, I think they casted the wrong guy. Like I said earlier post, Henry Rollins was who the character was based off of and he didn't want the roll. To me Morgan just tried to hard to be a dick to the point of being annoying. I no longer hate the guy because he's a villain, I hate him because his character is annoying the shit out of me with that sing song voice of his.

If Gary Busey was a bit younger he would of made a great Neagan. For some reason after seeing him in the Usual Suspects and Seven, Kevin Spacey comes to mind as well.
