For those of you with ageing parents who depend on Medicare or (shudder), Obamacare, please have a sit down talk with them about their coverage.

The new administration is stocking the health and human service dept with anti Medicare people, plus their Obamacare repacememt will indeed reduce premiums for younger people but raise them for older people. They are also working hard with Paul Ryan on privatizing Medicare. If you are older, on fixed income and of failing health , you may be in a whole lot of trouble.

Looks like the new admin has some great plans for federal employees. It will be interesting to see if it passes, but time to remove some of the protections that federal employees receive. It is almost impossible to fire federal employees, time for a change.

You could also look at it and say California has 55 votes and Wyoming only has 3. In other words the state of California has over 18 times the voting power of Wyoming.
