In defense of rip. He's served in the military. I'm confident he served and spent a ton of time with Latinos and black people.
I have zero doubt that rip would extend a helping hand to scrum or Dana as much as he would a white fella.
He may be a dumb shit hickbiller cousin fucker but he's a good guy and not anymore racist then scrum is with his mistrust of white people now. :D

Here is the stand up routine I was talking about, Bill Burr can explain it better than me:

It's clear his views will be different from yours.... like the comedian Bill Burr says, "what do you think he thinks?"
Think about his life experience and you'll see where he gets his views. They aren't right or wrong, but it's clear where they come from. We are all molded by our life experiences. If Ripper went on a 3 year trip around the world, backpacked, lived with poor Indians in Deli, hung out on the beach in Thailand and fished with the locals, spent time in the mountains in Tibet with the Buddhists, drank Ayahuasca in Peru with the local shaman's, protected innocent Mexican women from the cartel's in Mexico, went on a medical AIDS mission to an African village and volunteered in Haiti after the earthquake he would probably have a much much much different stance of some of this stuff you two are discussion, once again not right or wrong, just different.
Look at someone's life experience and then you'll be less surprised/appalled by their views and beliefs and vice versa (Same applies to you, you probably haven't spent much time with whites in the south so your view on them is most likely biased).

I am suggesting there are people here who are racist. I think most people are racist whether they admit it or not or even realize it or not. I think deep down most of us are inherently racist, some more than others but we all have it. People have been racist throughout human history, dating back what millions of years? I don't think it can be bred out of us overnight. Slavery ended less than 100 years ago.Originally posted by Scrumhalf View PostI am not suggesting anyone here is racist. Forget Ripper. Let's talk about a white guy who was born and raised in Kentucky who has never left the country or his home state for that matter. What do you think he thinks?Originally posted by Scrumhalf View PostHe's an army guy and has seen other parts of the world, so it would be inappropriate for me to assume anything about anybody without knowing them. And I honestly don't. That would be displaying precisely the behavior I claim I despise.
Look, I am not suggesting anyone here is racist. I don't know anyone personally and other than 1 or 2 exceptions, I don't even know anyone's real first name, leave alone any other details about them.
But I do expect better from the President, especially one who has come out and said that he wants to bridge the gap after a divisive campaign and be a President for everyone.

I work with a lot of Indians and Muslims on H1-B visas here in Silicon Valley. I have a good idea what they think about me, even though they don't even know me. This is human nature.

I'm not talking about ripper specifically, I'm using him as an example of the type of people Scrum is profiling and I'd bet Ripper's childhood was mostly white experience regardless of where he grew up. Where did he grow up by the way?Originally posted by Turbo3000 View PostHe didn't grow up in the south............
The point stands though. I didn't grow up in the south either but my classrooms and teachers were 90+% white and my grandparents were racist, but I never held that against them because I know the environment and times they grew up in.

No scrum..Im saying Obama made his choices to fill his cabinet...As the presidents before him did and as all other will afterwards...just stop the racism its really getting old..Obama had a lot of racists fucks in his "inner circle" but nothing was said in the main stream media because of who he was...Now they all wanna pounce... Im not a huge supporter of trump... I just hope he does get America back to work and prosperous again.. and yes Id like a border secured. That don't make me racist!! It makes me want America first. All people are welcome..just come here the right fucking way..what is so damn wrong with that? but Again...racism Is a two way fucking street..its not one way like your implying. Lets see how the policy's what ever they may be come to light and then we can see what happens...good or bad. Talk policy...im all over it...again your racism is coming out in every thing your posting lately... WTF?
