Ain't that bad. I've always lived 15min-20min south of there and trust me I've seen my share of shady shit, stabbings, shootings, blood, etc...

DC is 40min away from me, and that place is sketchy 24/7.

My buddy that used to be a Baltimore City cop said it is bad, however, with backup being 40s away, they usually wait until they arrive before approaching the suspect.

For awhile, I thought about applying to that department.

Got 14 inches of snow yesterday. Winter wonderland. Went snowshoeing around the neighborhood.

So, we got about 12-14" of snow yesterday. Biggest snowfall in about 25 years.

Here's video from the Oregon zoo... watch the first minute of the polar bear playing in the snow and you've got to smile and feel mad at zoos at the same time. You can feel the excitement of the bear. I hate to see these animals cooped up in unnatural environments.

It's 65 degrees right now outside. Wtf? It was 14 degrees when I woke up Monday morning at 5am and now it's fucking spring. Forecast is saying frozen precipitation Saturday and Sunday. God damn Maryland weather

Strange to see lemons in January and Sunshine like summer. I'm still used to it being 13 degrees this time of year with a foot of snow on ground. Why does anyone live anywhere else?

I imagine I'll probably move up and down the coast at some point just for the experience but I don't think out of state no.

Only thing I miss about back east is the mom and pop pizza, sub, cheese steak shops. They just don't have that culture in Cali. They know how to do great food out here but not junk food. We pretty much have to make pizza's and Stromboli ourselves here.
