You should find some gay guy out there to marry so you can get some dental!

But there are credit cards you can use that are just for medical expenses.

I did say that jack they straight up said no payment plan fixed price. I'm gonna call around a few dentists and see if I can find one who will take monthly payments.

          Just get it extracted.

Root canal is bad for you it stores the germ in your body and traps it in.

Honestly that's a pretty good price. Crowns are typically around $800-$1000 and my last root canal was $1900, but I opted for the laser. Root canals are very delicate and time sensitive. If it's a legit dentist you trust then a crown and a root canal for $1750 is a good deal. They must have given you the cash price.

There is some truth to this. Bacteria can get in there and then it's trapped which is why I went with the laser on mine which limits that risk.

Anyway, it's been there awhile I guess and I need a root canal and a crown. Best part, insurance covers not 1 penny of it. lol. Insurance would cover basic cleaning and fillings but not crown and root canal. Fuck sake. Price for 1 tooth... $1750. Mother fuckers.
Hey bro.. that price is actually correct. I had the same shit a couple months ago.. one of my fillings cracked and it was the back upper tooth.. for a couple a months I left it unattended and God I couldn't chew from my left side.
Went to the dentist. They redid a couple of fillings cause I have alot since I was a kid. So the back one she said she can not refill cause it has a big was hole and the need to make a crown. Invoice came out to 1,400 euros.. my insurance say they can only cover 100 euros lol.. she made a temporary filling, but said it's only good for 2 weeks. Shit it's been 2 months and I still have that same filling and I still ain't got the crown!!.. if I was home I would post pic of the invoice.
I told her pull that mofo out she said it's not wise because my chewing would be fucked up.. idk I'm not a dentist, could be blowing smoke, but I have one bottom molar taking out in the army and I'm fine with out it
Well least got my teeth clean

Oh and it's 1400 cause it would be a silver crown
. Gold one would of been like 2grand

They did say it would be a 3 step, 3 appointment process so I'm not sure what they plan on doing. It's definitely not some shady dentist. Place was very nice, huge building, tons of offices etc.. wasn't like some shitty dentist in the back of a 1970's strip mall. Lol

I will get it done, since the deductible of 100 euros is good for 6 months.. I had to make 3 trips in one week.. check up, refills, and tooth cleaning

How much you pay for dental cleaning over there?

Is it really bizarre? Dental school 200-350k, equipment for the business 200-500k, staff and utilities a few hundred grand as well. Get it pulled for $200 and go toothless. There are always other options. I pay almost $750 a month on insurance that I never use and I wouldn't balk at a $1700 bill for dental work. Most dental work is cosmetic, no one is forcing anyone to get it done.
