Don't know yet, Jack. I've just been here a day. My son has been invited to a music festival where he is composing some music, so we will be here in the Alps for a few days but not doing too much while he does his festival. Then, we are off to Venice on Friday and then back to the festival on Monday. A few more days there, and we'll head to Rome and then wrap things up in Florence. In each place, we've got Airbnbs as close as possible to the main sights, basically no more than a 10 minute walk.
I think this will be the best vacation we would have taken by the time its done because my kids are older and they are basically zero maintenance now and can enjoy themselves doing different things.

I think it's still sinking by a couple of mm per year or something like that. I know that these days when they have really high tides, the water comes on to the land. Not sure what's going to happen in a few years if there are several inches of sea level rise. It's going to be bad news for the city for sure.
