Planning to drive to Switzerland on Thursday and take one of those small meter gauge railways up into the mountains. It is called the Centovalli train (100 valleys) and the ride is supposed to be spectacular.

Lunch at Pompei. Naples-style pizza.

Heaven.

Florence is absolutely amazing. We are staying right in the city center. There are a crazy number of absolutely world class museums and architectural sights here.

Had an amazing dinner at Ristorante Quinoa. Absolute works of art.

Spent the afternoon at the Uffizi gallery. Absolutely incredible array of paintings and sculptures from the masters of the Renaissance.

Also had a great lunch at a trattoria - very traditional Tuscan style family restaurant.

Some linguini with truffles and some gnocchi with pomodoro sauce. Food is insanely good here.
