I got stayed a bit on the retirement. Took shrapnel in my back. Had 3 finger reattached. Compartment syndrome in right leg and two broken metatarsels. Can't really do the same run and gun shit anymore but killing this IT think. Plus it's easy to be the biggest guy in the office so that's an ego boost

yep..after doing 20 and some change it took me a while to adjust..hell I bet it was 2 full years just for me to wind the fuck down..:agreed:Originally posted by HalfMunky View PostIn a serious level. I'm doing okay. Decrease in pay. Decent internship that'll pay off down the road. Took part in a bullshit short documentary for the company I'm with. Just the transition. Drop in pay. Adjusting. Y'all know the deal. It's a bitch to go from one career to a new one after 11-years

About the same as giving up 4-5 years of your life, $50+ thousand in debt, and graduating with a liberal arts degree. At least you can party at school and mostly no wory about getting shot.Originally posted by Scrumhalf View PostWelcome back. Can you go to school on the Army's dime or something? Not trying to be harsh/judgmental/ or anything, but giving 11 years of your life with a nonzero probability of getting killed or maimed and emerging with convenience store skills is pretty outrageous IMO. They've got to make it up to your somehow.

That isn't my scenario. It is the scenario for most kids that are told they must go to college if they want to be "someone".Originally posted by boricuarage79 View PostIf you would of joined then you wouldn't have any college debt
