I'm blown away how at north Koreans support lard ass kim jong-un. I watched a video of how they teach their kids in school that Americans are horrible people. Even have painted pictures of American solders with a big nose. lol He bought them a fucking roller coaster and they praise him.

At least 3 prior administrations have tried to negotiate with NK and ALL of them failed miserably. Now, as a consequence of them pussy-footing around with NK, they are nuclear and able to launch a nuke at us. Furthermore, they are trying to bully and bluster further concessions with threats of nuclear war. If we allow that from them, the rest of the world that doesn't like us will see that as a weakness and will try to do the same thing. Iran will be the next one to give us an atomic wedgie and stuff us in the proverbial locker.
So, what would you do as president? Would you let the entire 3rd world see the USA as a pussy that can be threatened or even attacked without consequence?
I see this as another Cuban Missile Crisis. What do you think would have happened if Kennedy had backed down and allowed the USSR to have what would have essentially been first strike capability (since there would not have been enough reaction time to respond to a launch). Kennedy is revered because of his "Hot Headed" reaction to the placement of nukes in Cuba. He realized it could be the literal end of the USA and was prepared to go to nuclear war to prevent it. Khrushchev saw he was serious and wisely backed down.
Trump is backed into a corner all right but not one of his own making. There is no other way to respond to a nuclear power threatening a first strike then to warn them of the consequences and be prepared and COMMITTED to follow up accordingly. If you think Trump is bluffing when he warns of fire and fury, you are insane. It would be equally insane to NOT be prepared to respond in kind to a nuclear strike from ANY country. That is what "mutually assured destruction" is all about and why it has kept the peace since WWII. If we're going to let that fat POS nuke us without response, we are done as a country anyway.
We may well go to war again with NK but if we do, don't try to lay the blame for that at Trump's feet. Trump isn't the one who started this game of nuclear chicken and if it looks inevitable, I hope we turn NK into a smoking glow-in-the-dark glass crater first. Yes, I understand the horrific consequences with probably 20 million dead in SK alone but better that then 20 million in SK AND millions more on the USA mainland. If the crazy fat kid lights that fuse, SK is probably done for anyway.

Trump needs to stop talking and tweeting. He either works with them through the political back channels or he hits them hard with precision military attacks. But stop fucken tweeting and talking. He looks incompetent with constant threats and no action.Comment

I don't like his tweets either because I think it's kind of juvenile but I also don't think we should hit NK militarily if there is another option. If either one of us pulls the trigger on war, SK gets annihilated. NK uses and therefore understands bluster. I don't think Trumps tweeted threats are a bad thing necessarily. It's the kind of thing NK understands. Also, keep in mind, whether you like him or hate him, Trump is the president and has access to way more info then you or I. He has also shown a willingness to listen to his military generals who have a better sense of the situation on the ground. I really, really hope he isn't bluffing and I don't hink he is.
I guess I just get a little tired of everyone bashing Trump for everything instead of the truly bad actors like NK and Iran. No matter how much you despise Trump, he is order of magnitude better than Kim Jung Il and we don't execute people for being gay like Iran.Comment
