I think you ended up with a great upgrade for $100 and a phone turn in.

Google Fi is cool as fuck. I don't even have to turn the 5x do to this issue I had in the past where they replaced my other 5x. I got on a chat line in the fi app with them and let them know about the headphone jack issue.

They are letting me keep the 5x and still sending me the G6 at a price of only $104 exactly. That's even more of a fucken steal!

Got it yesterday. Love it. Feels like a high end phone compared my older Nexus 5x. All the finishes are nicer, the display kills the 5x in terms of clarity and color. The actual phone is the same size as the 5x but the screen on the G6 is like .3 inches bigger. The camera on the G6 is much quicker at focusing in on something and snapping a pic. With the 5x I'd have to give it a sec to focus and then the pic would "process" for a second. None of that with the G6 it's all pretty much instant. 5x isnt very old at all but this G6 really reminds you how fast technology evolves. For the price I got this thing it is absolutely the best deal I've ever gotten on a phone. I was expecting a "budget" phone which I was fine with because it was so cheap but damn, now I find myself babying this thing because it's quality is so much more then what I was expecting. I'm not taking this thing to the gym. I'm gonna use my old 5x as my gym music phone now. I picked up some wireless headphones so that will fix the headphone jack issues I was having with the 5x.

Bottom line, anyone who uses this G6 would walk away very impressed especially considering the price I paid.

2 month update. phone has been great. not a single complaint. anyone looking for a great phone that doesn't want to pay a stupid price i highly recommend the G5. this phone is absolutely amazing for it's price.
