not to sound like some science know it all type fella in a time of destruction but..

hurricanes are fed by warm waters. the warmer the water the more common this will be. global warming will continue to make these hurricanes more numerous and stronger in force. there may come a day when we need to upgrade the category of hurricane to a category 6 class... scary shit.

I know what you are saying.. hence why we don't get hurricanes in Europe... like not enough humidity or some shit or not being close to the equador

I'm here in the Savannah Ga area & its looking like the eye may come off the coast of Tybee island which is about 40 miles from where I'm located. We're riding it out. My in laws have a fully bricked new house so we're hoping it can withstand 80 to 100 mph winds.

We just got the word for mandatory evac. I got about 400 yds of woods between me and the coast and surrounded on 3 side by coastal marsh and rivers within a mile.Talking if its a cat 3 hitting as predicted at high tide...my house will be a submarine. I'm taking tomorrow off to get as much shit as high as I can get it..and hoping for the best... its about all we can do..

You SE peeps better get out while you can. Irma makes Andrew look like a toy. Look at the picture - Andrew is on top, Irma is below. Same scale. Yikes.

It's about flooding ya dumb dick.

Look at Houston. The winds weren't even that bad in comparison.
