Another imminent government shutdown

It's one of those things that's almost too big to wrap your head around. If you really think about it. The DEA doesn't want drugs to stop. If drugs disappeared tomorrow they'd be out of business. Cops don't want crime to stop because if it did they wouldn't have a job anymore. They go to work to do a job to stop drugs and crime but they don't actually want that to happen.

The world needs wars, crime, and drugs. Industries are built around them. If there was world peace tomorrow and there was no more crime and no more war think of the economic impact that would have. It would be devastating to the world economy. Companies like Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, small arms manufacturers etc.. would all but totally collapse.

We've built a world around these things. We think we want it all to stop but I'm not sure a world like that can ever exist with humans in general. From the day we crawled out of our caves we've been at war in 1 way or another. It's who we are as a group I think.

Essential government is still up and running. The mail system is still up and running, hell this time even national parks are staying open. Just an excuse for the old fuck politicians to go back on vacation they just came back from.

Here's the best part of this shut down...the Dems are trying to play hard ball on Trump..they figure they now have a gotcha moment as the government shuts down on his one year anniversary of being president. With Trump's ego...do you really believe he's gonna let that go? Military isn't being paid during the shutdown. They are expected to put there life on the line for no pay while old fucks in Washington relax in their beautiful homes with staff to wait on them hand and foot.
