This is totally upfront. Developing countries need to have a chance to develop their industries in the same way the West has been able to do since the Industrial Revolution.

Do you think it is fair for the Western economies to say, well, we've burned fossil fuels for the last 150 plus years and have grown our economies, so now, we'll move the goalposts for the rest of you. That's the reason why developing countries get extra time.

Nope. Flawed...the advanced technology is there..they should be made to do it right from the get go. This is the same mindset with dreamers...let's make exceptions for everyone and everything except the good old USA...China has more money then us..they can afford it...if all these people really want change...the grow balls and force it. These are the realities of how we got to where we are today. Not the only reason of course, but a major reason. We should acknowledge it, account for it and move forward.
