I'm not arguing against the Industrial revolution. I am arguing against our seeming inability to acknowledge that the Industrial revolution was fueled by raw materials stolen from the colonies and that perhaps, just perhaps, their own development was stymied as a result. The scars of colonialism, both in terms of riches and psychological impact are significant as I have seen firsthand.
